HATHA / VINYASA
In hatha yoga, you can expect an accommodating practice full of static postures, mindful breathwork, and a manageable pace. This dynamic allows for a greater focus on alignment and mindful breathing, making the practice accessible to yogis of all levels, especially beginners.
Vinyasa Flow yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom, and fluidity in the body and mind.
Kundalini yoga is an uplifting, energizing and transformative type of yoga that uses physical postures, powerful breath work, audible chants or “mantras” and hand gestures or “mudras” to produce full body awareness and purification. ... Unlocking this potent energy is the primary focus of Kundalini yoga.
ENERGY MEDICINE YOGA
Energy Medicine Yoga integrates yoga and Eden Energy Medicine (EEM) to greatly increase your strength, health and resiliency.
Energy Medicine Yoga is an integrative practice weaving ancient healing methods and modern science into the context of a yoga practice to activate and organize our energy for optimal health and wellbeing.
Energy affects everything - including how you think and feel about your body, mind, and life. The result is a deep love, appreciation, and acceptance of yourself. From that place, all healing, transformation, contentment, and peace are possible.
RESTORATIVE & MEDITATION
In these classes expect a blend of restorative and yin yoga. It's about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. During these long holds, your muscles relax deeply. It's a completely different feeling from other types of yoga classes since props ( pillow, bolster, blocks) are used to support your body instead of your muscles.
Expect also different kinds of meditation and pranayama - Pranayama refers to breathing exercises that clear the physical and emotional obstacles in our body to free the breath and so the flow of prana - life energy. Regular and sustained practice of Pranayama can supercharge your whole body!
In these classes, you can also experience Yoga Nidra, a Sanskrit term meaning "yogic sleep" which is a deep relaxation technique and a form of meditation. The body is completely relaxed and the practitioner turns the awareness inward by listening to a set of instructions; much like a guided meditation.
Focus on stretching with hyper-targeted, passive practices designed to safely and naturally improve your range of motion. Train your flexibility so that you can comfortably and confidently participate in yoga and daily life. Gravity Yoga is practiced completely relaxed, passively, so gravity does most of the work, hence the name.
